Directions, Parking, and Accommodations

Parking

Visitor parking is available in the Bone Student Center Pay Lot at a rate of $1.00 an hour. There is no overnight parking in the Bone Student Center Pay Lot and it is closed from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Vehicles are subject to overtime charges and towing unless removed by 4:00 a.m.

Driving Directions

If you are using a GPS or an app to help you navigate to the conference, please set the following address as your destination: 400 W. Locust Street, Normal, Illinois 61761. This is the entrance to the Bone Student Center Pay Lot.

From I-74 Eastbound

  • Merge onto I-55 via exit #127 on the left-toward Chicago
  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165A) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Stay straight to go onto US-51 BR/N Main St. Turn left on Willow Street.
  • Go two blocks and turn right on Normal Avenue.
  • Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot will be directly in front of you.

From I-74 Westbound

  • Follow I-55 towards Chicago
  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165A) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Stay straight to go onto US-51 BR/N Main St.
  • Turn left on Willow Street.
  • Go two blocks and turn right on Normal Avenue.
  • Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot will be directly in front of you.

From I-55 Southbound

  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Turn left onto US-51 BR/N Main St.
  • Turn left on Willow Street.
  • Go two blocks and turn right on Normal Avenue.
  • Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot will be directly in front of you.

From I-55 Northbound

  • Take US-51-BR exit (#165A) toward Bloomington-Normal
  • Stay straight to go onto US-51 BR/N Main St.
  • Turn left on Willow Street.
  • Go two blocks and turn right on Normal Avenue.
  • Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot will be directly in front of you.

From I-39 Southbound

  • Take US-51-BR/Bloomington/Normal exit (#2)
  • Take a left at the top of the exit ramp
  • Stay straight on US-51-BR/N Main St.
  • Turn left on Willow Street.
  • Go two blocks and turn right on Normal Avenue.
  • Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot will be directly in front of you.

Amtrak Travel

Illinois State University is conveniently located a few blocks from the Bloomington-Normal Amtrak Station, which is serviced by the Texas Eagle and Illinois Service routes.

Hotel Accommodations and Visitor Information

While we have structured the conference schedule (e.g., mid-morning start time) as a 1-day, drive-in conference, we realize conference participants may wish to extend their visit to the Bloomington-Normal area.

Should you need hotel accommodations, the Marriott Hotel and Hyatt Place are located a short walk from Illinois State University and the Bloomington-Normal Amtrak Station.
