The first workshop will be offered June 16-17, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. An identical workshop will be offered on the Naperville campus of DePaul University July 21-22, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Registration is now closed.
Participants will be required to complete two online modules from the Library of Congress prior to their 2-day workshop. The two modules participants should complete are Introduction to the Library of Congress and Analyzing Primary Sources: Maps. The online modules are self-paced and interactive. Each multimedia-rich module takes approximately one hour to complete. After completion of each online module, the participant should print out the certificate and bring it with them to their 2-day workshop. The complete list of six online modules can be found at the Library of Congress.
